I want to take a modern language with listening for the SATII, because I want to measure the level of my mastery of that language. i was just wondering if doing bad in that test will affect my chances of getting into colleges.

you can get a CD with explanations of 1800 words.

Take a practice test. If you score below 600 DO NOT TAKE THE REAL TEST. It could hurt your chance of getting into your choice college unless you have perfect scores and perfect grades.

well if you did bad, you can always retake the SAT II again and try to aim higher. colleges see all your scores when you enter them but they mostly consider your highest scores.
