mine too. our biggest industry, a paper mill, closed over a year ago and since then it's been really bad. lots of families hurt by the layoff and it's getting depressed. we need a factory or some other industry to come in.
then there's the various gangs, the blacks, hispanics and the stupid white kids too. it's getting bad. places i went to only 10 years ago are now like don't go there, that's where all the gangs go and there's fights all the time and stuff. and this is small town america. granted we're only 70 miles from houston but still, sheesh.

Intelligent leadership with foresight, and wisdom enough to make decisions and not spend all the taxpayers money on studies and studies of those studies, and consultants to tell them what to think, instead of paying for basic services at a decent wage.
