I was wondering when companies release their quarterly statements to the public. I know the months; March, June, September, December - but at what date to they publicly display the data? (beginning of the following month?)

Thanks for answering!

15 days is NOT correct. Quarterly statement must be filed in 40 - 45 days (depending on the size of the company).

In the US, public companies are required to file once per quarter with the SEC. Someone else mentioned that it has to be done by the 15th of the month following the end of their quarter. I didn't know this -- but it sounds right.

However, in the US, companies are allowed to choose when their fiscal year starts and ends. This means that not all companies releast their reports in the same months.

If there is a particular company that you want to know about, you can view their SEC filings through the EDGAR database. You can get at it through Yahoo! Finance.

They filed a initial prospectus with Canadians securities regulators. The monetary statements must be in there. there are likely databases to search for organizations. each and each province has its own regulatory organization.
