i cannot follow any links on my computer on the internet if i try my computer just freezes any ideas what is wrong?

try copy pasting the same into address bar
acc to your need the office/ s.w. may be its hanging due to over load
try running as minimum number of programs at a time as possible to reduce overload on PC
