2-3/4 = 11/4 Gallon can.
90-3/4 = 363/4 Gallons of oil.
Divide one by the other:
= 363/4 ÷ 11/4
= 363/4 x 4/11
= 363/11
= 33
33 containers will be fill up.

All you have to do is divide 90 3/4 by 2 3/4.

90 3/4 can be written as 363/4 because 90*4 + 3 = 363
2 3/4 can be written as 11/4 because 2*4 + 3 = 11
When you divide 363/4 by 11/4, the 4's in both denominators cancel each other out. You are then left with 363/11. This can be done by long division, or on your calculator!
