Assuming the files are on a hard drive in a computer you no longer want, I would recommend buying a hard disk enclosure at a electronic store like best buy (they generally aren't more than $20-$30). This will allow you to convert you old hard drive into a portable USB drive. You can just plug it in and copy the files with no need to open the new case and you will not have capacity issue like with a jump drive. When your done you will have the added bonus of a nifty portable drive that has good capacity. I use my old hard drive, now a 250GB USB drive, as a backup location for my current data files, just in case one of the drives dies.

If the drives are in the same computer, highlight the files you want to copy on one drive, right-click, Copy. Go to the location you would like to put them on the other drive, right-click, Paste.

ultimate determination would be to pick record(s), real click, then shrink and paste in the detailed folder of the different confusing disk, it quite is under the concept which you're employing a microsoft OS. Dragging and dropping will purely shop a replica different than if the record has a examine-purely status. nicely it quite is from own journey.

There are several ways to do it.
The easiest way is probably to use a flash drive. You could also put both drives in the same machine and transfer files that way,or you can transfer files if the machines are networked.
