We used to have to use the bathroom in the dark to save money on electricity...at one of the 3 largest banks in the country!
Also we had a dress code that said underwear must be worn under clothing at all times...Who's going to check? It's not like they'll be able to see if they follow me to the bathroom. It's dark in there :) LOL!

We could not keep our coats at our desks. It was a private area so it is not like customers were there. We had a closest for non-smokers coats and smokers coats. The team across the aisle had their own rules and could keep their coats at their desks. So it was only a group of about 20 of us that had to put them in closets

No water bottles on the floor, not even at your desk in your department.

Then we have flyers in the break room telling us that in order to stay cool, we should be drinking two glasses an hour...

The cleaning crew is not allowed in the building by themselves. So they have to come and vacuum while everyone is here trying to work.

The company also reserves the right to search our cars. For what, I don't know.

We have a coffee maker in the break room. The boss keeps the coffee can in his safe because "We're using too much coffee." He drinks as much as anyone. Go figure.
