Im 16 and i've been moving around for the past two years since my mom kicked me out. My parents are divorced and up until 2 years ago i was living with my mom. When she told me to move out i moved in with my aunt, then my grandma, then my freind, and then my dad. Each house i went to i burnt my bridges and they all were fed up with me and wanted me out. At the beginning of the summer my dad kicked me out and we have not spoke since. I then moved in with my 19 year, old brother for the summer(hell be 20 soon). I went to get independant living and they told me i wasnt qualified thats when my social worker stepped in and called my mom. Im back with my mom again now,but the problems are already starting, she has very bad depression and i feel that the only resolution is that i move either out on my own or in with my brother. I get along very well with my brother and he said i could move in with him. Do i have to get emancipated before moving in, or shoud i have him get custody of me?

If you are a troublemaker it will be hard to prove to the court you are capable of caring for yourself. Ask your brother to take you in and get custody, mom can sign over rights to him. Take control of your life before you end up in jail. Focus on your future and dreams, you can't make it happen if you are in jail or always getting kicked out.

You should GROW UP and be the appropriate son your mother deserves. No wonder she's depressed - she has watched you screw up over and over again. I know she taught you better than that, and, even if she didn't, it appears that you DO know right from wrong. Being a responsible person is NOT that hard, so get going and DO IT. Or, if you just CAN'T (Jeesh), get your tookus emancipated so NO ONE has to be responsible for your sorry a55. Makes me sick that the money I pay in taxes is going to go towards your upkeep - either for welfare or when you get to jail...GROW UP.
