It depends on the twins. I know a pair of identical tiwns, and my teacher always gets them mixed up, but I dont see how. The both have different hait cuts, and color.

Even if twins are identical, you can tell them apart. One twin might have a small scare, that is what I use. ALso, they might walk differetly, or talk differently, or have different body language. Even though most tiws share this things, there personalites can be very different. Thats the best thing to use, the personality.

The term Identical twins is not all true. their fingerprints for example are different. they are also 2 seperate people and their bodies will not, I don't care what anyone says, Will not grow exactly the same. there will be subtle differences. one may also be shorter than the other just alittle bit. You just have to find those subtle differences. I went to school with twins and we didn't have trouble telling them apart although they were considered Identical.

Just look at them closely, you can always spot differences! In fraternal twins, one can be a boy and the other a girl .. not too hard to tell apart!

Get to know them! Their personalities are going to be enough different that, unless they're deliberately trying to fool you, you'll be able to tell which is which. That said, I know a pair of twins from my childhood who enjoyed keeping 'everyone' out of their loop - they were constantly 'trading' personalities and trying to keep anyone from knowing which was which. Their mom sometimes couldn't tell! It backfired, however, when they tried to pull it on one of them's girlfriend: she was pg, and they both claimed it was the other one. So the judge made BOTH of them pay support!
