I have gotten a new laptop from dell. an inspiron 1300. I was wondering if there is anyway to change the touch pad, so that when I tap it, it acts as a left click. ??
I'm pretty sure theres a way to do it. just not sure, thanks.

Start / Control Panel
There should be a 'touch pad' icon there...
or
Check on the 'mouse' icon. You'll see several tabs there with customization for what happens when you click

Go Start > Control Pad > Printers and other Hardware > Mouse > Button Configuration

go to start > control panel > mouse, and select the touchpad tab, and customize it from there.
