This question shows how stupid the archaic English System is. In the Metric System I can do this type of problem in my head. In the English System I have to look up the conversion factor and use a calculator or other means to obtain an answer. I checked two physics texts and neither had the conversion factor.

I won't do the math but I'll tell you how to do it.

Convert the acreage to square feet. Divide that total by figuring out the square feet in a square mile.
