It dosent make any sense, why did Freddy just jump at the girl and vanish after she talked him down?
Is there something I'm missing here?
I'm also talking about the 1st movie here.

Freddy is supposed to thrive off the fears of others, that is why he shows up in nightmares. She turns away from him, unaffraid, thereby taking away his power and he disappears. I thought it ended with her and her friends returning to school as i fnothing had happened. Are you talking about #2?

She stoped being afraid. She over came it, and by doing so he lost his power. But he came back. I love those movies. 1 2 freddys coming for u!!! : )
