Go to a good department store; Nordstrom's, Macy's, etc. They will size you correctly. Also, the quality of the bra will determine the fit as well.

When changing the sizes of bras, if you go up in the band size then you should go down in the cup size to keep it where it should be. If you are saying that a 36C cups fit, but the band is too tight, try a 38B Just that slight change could mean everything. Also, go to a store and ask someone there to help you fit properly into the bra. They will help you find the correct size and they can also help choose the most comfortable bra for you.
I have gone to do that and the ladies that are in those stores are very helpful.

If you were shy about getting measured in a shop there is a way of measuring yourself for a bra. First measure in inches just below the bust. If this is a odd number add 5 if it is even add 4. This gives you your back measurement. To get the cup size measure around the fullest part of your bust and take your back measurement away from it. if the difference is 0 your an A cup, 1 is a B, 2 is a C and so on. Hope this helps.

"Just My Size" offers a new bra that gives you 1/2 sizes. You might want to try a 36 1/2 C. If that doesn't work, you should look into trying a 38 B. I am the same way you are as far as finding the perfect fit bra. I am either a 40 C in a strapless bra, or a 38 D in a regular bra. I buy all my bras from Lane Bryant, so you might want to check them out. Also, Victoria Secret and Lane Bryant offer free bra fittings to see what size you actually may be. Sorry i could not be of more help!

Go to a store like Victoria Secrets. The workers there are very good at want they do. They will measure and find out what bra is best for you, and what you want. Yes some people my think that they are expensive, but they super good quality and last a long time.

The way I see it, there is no problem......OK, sorry about that. I recently heard a person on the radio that measures people for bras. There is a formula and I know you get off the shelf (but not-so-ordinary) at higher end stores, like Nordstroms.
