Pick the place where you would like to work then go direct and ask if there is any jobs available. go again the following week and again the week after, you will impress them as to really wanting the job and you will get it. One tip, never go in two's and expect to be given a job together...it does not happen.....good luck.

There are loads of people about your age working in my co-op at the 7 dials on evenings and weekends. They look like they hate it, but presumably they get money.
also, try smaller shops/cafes/restaurants - not big companys, usually more likely to hire you at 14.
i worked from when I was 14 in Brighton. Good luck.

Because of your age there is not much that you can do, or are allowed to do because of the law emplying young people. Best I can suggest is a paper round.

Try looking in your local shops... duh! or maybe a newspaper round. If that fails go bug your parents for money.
