which metals have the highest charring or scorching points?

prefferably something i can easily find in a hardware store or something. thank you in advance

Am not certain if it is a metal, or even if it exists, but neutronium would probably be the best choice. Doubt you can obtain it though. I would recommend the same metal that is used to make wood stoves.

Metals do not char or scorch. Wood does that.
