I work for T-mobile [Registrations, Customer Service, Customer Collections] and I understand your pain, the 14-days is not just procedure but how the system works (not specific to T-mobile), however T-mobile customer services does blow.

The staff are not trained well at all, I know our site is one of the better trained as some mistakes I have seen are horrendous and I'm normally the poor fool stuck with awkward customers as a result – and god do we have some awkward customers.

It depends on the situation; if you are a rubbish customer you don't have a hope in hell's chance of getting a thing – i.e. if you're abusive, if you pay your bills late, etc. It is also the managers who get to say whether-or-not you get anything and most simply refuse unless you take a hissy-fit on the phone and they give it to you in order to get rid of you, which frankly if you do you aren't worthy of compensation. Plus then why WERE you waiting 30 days, it only takes 14 days to get a refund.

You could complain if you have valid reason to do so, you'd have to ask customer services for the address for Customer Relations, although in all fairness that would probably take far longer than it has for you to get a refund.

I haven't had any problems with T-Mobile yet. They've actually helped me out a lot. They worked with me and lowered my bill and everything. I like them as a company. The two companies that are the worst are Cingular and Nextel. I've heard that Verizon and Alltel have the best service.

I am with T Mobile and have had nothing but problems with them. Just recently I complained to them and weeks later am still chasing them to sort it out. I really don't think there's anything you can do to be honest. This isn't the first time I've complained to them and nothing was done the first time. The minute my contract runs out I'm switching networks - however I enquired 2 weeks ago when my contract ran out and I still haven't heard!!
