I dont know why, but i dont know who i am, i dont know how to describe myself, i am the type that 4 example,my frind told me she was going to the movies with another friend and her friend's cousin, which she likes, i think she is really rushig, i turn 13 in november 14, she on nov,16!!! what is it about me that i just am inerested in guys but i dont have the guts, sometmes i think its all this friends fault beuz last year i thought i was the type that no one knows, but this year, i joined volleyball, it has boosted up my confidence, now i have alot of nice friends, everyone is saying Hi marnie, while i am talking to some one else,i mean, my life is great now, but like, i guess i am unsure of myself becuz of this friend who is completely diffrent, y other friends are also lke me, they are layback and care about their grades, like i do, should i get a reality check,or stop being friends with the other girls, i am scared of doing things wrong, help me!!!

Sweetie, you are 12. You are not supposed to know all the secrets of the universe yet. You aren't really supposed to know a whole lot about anything yet. It also sounds like you are a bit shy, which is perfectly ok. You are too young to be running around with boys anyways. What are you so afraid of? Just hang out with your friends and be yourself. And focus on your schoolwork. Everything will be just fine.

Actually it is good that you are not into guys yet. 13 is still to young to be attached to a guy. Spend the next couple of years getting to know yourself and figure out what you want out of life. You do not have to stop hanging out with anyone, you can watch them and see all of the mistakes they are making and learn real life lessons. Young teenage relationships are not healthy usually. There is so much to learn before you have a boy friend and you really need top be careful. Hang out, study, play sports and have some fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if think that certain people are going to lead you to do the wrong thing, or get you in trouble, the best advice I can give you is to not hang out with them. Unless you want to get yourself into trouble. And don't woryy so much about guys...that'll come soon enough for you. Just have fun being 13, playing volleyball, and learning to like youself!

Right now you are in a tough stage in your life.. Be yourself, it's ok to have friends who don't like the same things as you.. and it's ok to have friends who are just like you.. If you are not ready for boys, then you're not ready and your friends should respect you for that...Look I've been in that situation when I was young, but in the end if you just be yourself and make decisions based on your intuition.. You will be fine, School is very important for your future...Good Luck

i so see someone just like me in you marnie. you would be a girl just like me, but my problem is more complex. im worried about what if my friends really dont like being around me but they dont have the heart or guts to tell me to take a hike???? i got my answer today when this (popular) boy named tanner came up to me and said "your cool in your own way" (he said that cuz i finally made up a chart to catagorize our school social groups) i think that real friends are the friends that think your cool in your own way, and i think u should just give your girls the test of time, if they're your real friends they stick around. real friends arent always just like us, and while that could complicate things, you can still make the friendship work.

I kinda no what your goin thru...your so young you have along tyme to figure out who you are don't rush on things..when your ready to...tyme will *** & yer evenually gonna kno..everybody's way of living is diff thy mature faster & some not..Im 16 & mi old friend was always tellin me i could never do nething cuz i neva had the guts...she was always askin when i was gonna lose my virginity & she got mi confidence down a whole bunch but me & her got in a fight & i found real friends that wasn't gonna rush my way of living and rush how i grow...She thinks im a loser now because i dropped out skewl & i went back & she thinks im stupid cuz i wanna get mi diploma & that ill put stuff off to do h.w but im kinda lost on what yer saying in a way but just don't let her rush yer maturing just because she's doing it...if u ever needa talk jus email me or w.e ttyl pCe

there is nothing wrong with you. You are young and there is no reason to rush into a social life that you are not comfortable with. You keep doing what you are doing with your true friends, keep making good grades and you will be the one on top in the future.

its all rite, theres plenty of situation like that. you know wuts best for you, if you make a wrong dicission, thats ok, cuz someone else didn't make it for you. as ur getting to know urself, you will be better at making ur own dicissions. so again, only YOU know wuts best for you. YOU do wut YOU wanna do. cuz YOU know wuts best in this situation. looke deeper inside. its there. if it isn't, its deeper.
