Visit the Wine Farms in Stellenbosch and Somerset West, near Cape Town - spectacularly beautiful and very hospitable. My favourites are: Waterford, Guardian Peak (fantastic lunches), Somerbosch, Longridge, Lourensford, Morgenster (olives too) and Vergelegen. Spier Estate also in the area - very touristy, but interesting to see. Funky African restaurant called Moyo at Spier.

Try Bascule Wine Bar at the Mont Grace Hotel - V&A Waterfront for sundowners.

Quay Four at the water front is a great place to go and eat, great food great bands or any Spur restaurant. For me a small restaurant in Tableview called Jimmys was the best great seafood with great views. The cable car up to the top of table mountain is worth while. Some of the road trips around the place also come to mind Hout Bay .If your into surfing some nice reef/beach breaks around the place, the weekend markets are also very fascinating.
