I wouldnt say there is a specific age but I think that when you are senior in HS that is the best time of a teens life. The drama of high school and middle school seems to not matter anymore so everyone starts making peace. Also the excitement of going to college and off on their own sets in. Everything just seems so much more relax and all of the little things you worried about the years before dont really matter anymore. Plus there are all kinds of senior activities going on that are a lot of fun. So I would definately say that anyones senior year of high school is the best!

I would have to say that a teenager enjoys the most is being 16 because that is the year that you can drive. You can drive yourself and friends to the places that you want to go to!

In many cases, it's 12th grade, because you know a lot of people at school by then, and you're taking classes that are more in line with what you want to do when you get older. (Similarly, 8th grade is cool.)
Or, whenever you're old enough to drive, that's probably another great time. (In my case, it was when I turned 16, but laws have changed since then.)
9th grade is probably the worst because you don't know many people, you're at the lowest of 4 grades in high school, zits are coming out everywhere, etc.
But honestly, if you have friends, it doesn't matter a whole lot. Make sure you find and keep friends that make you feel good about yourself. A teenager with positive friends is nearly invincible. :)

17-19 are the best years. 19 is a lot of fun because you are FREE AT LAST with no parents and minimal responsibilities, AND you are an adult so you can make your own decisions, but 17 is a lot of fun because you have the ability to drive, but basically NO responisbilities whatsoever.

15 because you are old enough to do what you want within reason but you don't have all the responsibility of an adult yet or such a worry of exams and A-levels. You can still have fun and be childish but have that sense of maturity when you want it.

good question! i was wondering the same thing this morning. my 16th was all right, but i'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that my 17th is fun, and i'm going to enjoy every minute of it. maybe it is supposed to be 16, hence the phrase "sweet 16"
