Lifestyle, and especially Women's Lifestyle, is the single most competetive magazine sector. Your magazine will need to be different, both to readers and advertisers, in order to succeed.
Sorry to be so negative, but it's not going to be easy. I work for a company with quite a lot of experience and reputation and we've just stopped printing one of our lifestyle titles because of lack of advertising support. If you want some more help or advise then feel free to email me.
