I think I know where the fault is with your emergency brake
light flashing in your car's dashboard.
You, either have got a faulty sensor which is not working
properly even though you didn't touch the brakes, or the brake
fluid in the brake container in your car's engine compartment
is insufficiently below the mark, which 'trigger' the sensor and
caused it to be 'on' intermittently while driving on the road.
So, check out, by topping up the brake fluid to its max. mark.
It should stop the brake light from coming "on".

On most Emergency Brakes pedals or handles, there is an electrical switch located near the pedal arm. When the brake pedal or handle in some other cases is depressed or pulled up the switch closes its contacts allowing the electricity to flow Thru the switch thus illuminating the light.
There are two known fixes for this, either the emergency brake cable is loose, allowing the pedal or handle to move slightly during driving, or your switch is in need of replacement as its contacts are worn. Either tighten the cable refer to your shop manual availbale at any parts store, or replace the switch
Hope that helps, oh here's the part number for a new switch if needed WELLS SW2090 $9.99 at Auto-zone

Just above the emergency brake is a switch, which can be adjusted, by turning it right or left, or loosened, and adjusted, to get that light to go out, unless the brake is on. Most likely cause is the switch is misadjusted, or the return spring for the emergency brake is weakened from age. Hope this helps

Emergency brake pedal is falling down because your brake is out of adjustment or the cable is broken or apart somewhere. Therefore it's not contacting the shut off switch that activates the light in the dash.

Sometime the emergency brake light is used also when your brake fluid level in your vehicle is low. Check your brake resevoir to ensure that there is enough brake fluid in you master cylinder.
Otherwise it's most likely to be the sensor for the emergency brake that is not aligned properly.

like others have said, it may be the brake fluid being low, but probably the swicth at the e-brake itself, check the ebrake pedal/handle and make surre it is coming all the way back up and hiting the switch, if its intermittent then the ebrake pedal/handle is just barely touching the switch and causing it to contact intermittently when you drive and hit bumps,
