Hi,when I first saw your question,I thought something else was going on here. But I see we're talking cars vs. bikes.OK,I would have to know what kind of car you have, like someone else said ,if it's a classic,or a car that would cost you way more than 2g's today,I would get the engine if it's in good shape otherwise. But if it's a "beater" and not worth much more than what the engine would cost, then by all means get your "crotch rocket".There's nothing sexier than a guy on a motorcycle, unless it's a guy in a classic car!But if you get the cycle, watch out for those people on the road, that think they're the ONLY ones out there. My experience with motorcycles, and I've been around them all my life. It's not so much the people on the bikes,as much as it's the people NOT looking out for the bikes!!!So whatever you choose just stay safe and alive.Take care and God bless.

Me personally, I am a crotch rocket fan ;) I love riding on motorcycles, and I am planning on getting one late next year (A GSXR1000!!). It depends on what you are planning on doing--are you going to race with either the car or the bike? Or will either purchase just be for fun? If money is no object, and you really want the bike, I say go for it! But make sure you're getting a good deal on the bike! If it's used, make sure everything is in working condition, so you know if you'll have to spend more money on fixing it up and making it safe. I say get the bike, but you should go with your gut instinct. Whichever one you think about more, is the one you should get! Be safe and always wear a helmet!

If your current car engine is running fine i would go with the bike, get the bike now put it up for the winter, ride it in the summer and it will help you save money on gas which will help you get your engine quicker, other hand if you buy a bigger engine your gonna spend more on gas ect and it will take longer to get the bike, but if you need a engine anyways i would go with the engine you gotta have at least one form of transportation

I wouldnt advise it, having had an accident on one, and been laid up for over a month because of it. They are dangerous, offer no protection during an accident, and cannot be driven in the winter, due to the lack of enclosier. A car, van, or pickup truck is preferable, as they DO provide some protection in accidents, as well as giving someplace for a passenger to sit COMFORTABLY. Ever try to do ANYTHING with a date on a motorcycle? Even talking while on one is next to impossible, and forget about kissing, etc, unless your head can turn like Linda Blair on the Excorcist! Seriously, a car, van, or pickup is more comfortable, can be used in almost any weather, and can move and store things in without fearing being ripped off. Hope this helps.:)

I would get the engine for the car. Because winter is coming up and you can't ride a bike in the snow. But during the winter I would save a little here and there so I could get a bike in the spring.....then you'll have both!

Crotch rockets are very uncomfortable. Get a cruiser bike. They are more comfortable and safe. You will kill yourself on a crotch rocket bike. You will probably speed and take more risks. If you do get a bike, wear a helmet for your mom's sake. Good night and good luck.

I would say the engine. Motorcycles dont hold there value very well expecially if you drive them hard and dump them. And when it comes time to sell a car is going to be alot easier to get rid of then the bike.

go for the car engine . you obviously have a need for speed and would probably not take a motorcycle rider safety course which would help to preserve your life. You have a better chance of living in a car

while you're taking instructions then there would desire to be no situation commencing on a 600. each and every physique recommends the 250 it is only superb besides yet you will desire to get what you like. The 600 will purely bypass as rapid as you turn the throttle. in case you practice what you study in the class you will desire to be superb. Edit. 600cc isn't a supersport bike. a lot of human beings start up on a 600 inclusive of me. Going new won't be sensible considering a drop would be extra intense priced. i'm sorry to declare it yet you got here to the incorrect place for an answer. you will not delay any site visitors on a FZR. those solutions are rediculous! no person is happy on a Ninja 500. those motorcycles are butt ball gruesome! take Lane's suggestion, get an 04 R6.

If you do buy one please dont drive like an idiot like 99.9% of guys I see on the road with crotch rockets. They act like everyone else is in there way and are just obstacles to swerve around, they ride at excessive speeds, and they just generally ride like a bunch of a$$es. Buying a crotch rocket doesnt automatically mean you own the road.
