It is an interesting play. Many find it difficult to understand or to relate to though, hence the "boring" answers. There is so much symbolism, irony, etc that you only get from reading it more than once. Remember that Shakespeare is considered as one of the three best writers in the world, and it's for a reason.

it all depends on how interesting your teacher makes it.we had jc for two years in the ninth and the tenth(i guess it would be the same for you,if you are an icse student).
in the ninth i absolutely detested the thing-to add to things,we had a hopeless teacher.in the tenth however,we got a superb teacher and i thoroughly enjoyed it.
the play begins to pick up only after caesar is killed(acc to me,the first two acts r utter rubbish!),so if you've not yet reached that point,do not despair, for the best is yet to come!

During school days, V r still very young and cant appreciate the entire story / episode, so we just read it frm the exam pt of view. We start appreciating it only as we grow up and start rationalising / Justifyoing things with context in mind.
