I just divorced, im 24 yrs old, I have kids, why do I feel like im so ..... damaged??? I think I will never find a good man out here, see im in cali and all the guys I know are......Dumb....will i ever find a good man???

girl how did you do it? I'm 23 yrs old married and have kids. what gave you the strength to leave? I don't think you should start looking for a man yet! you just came out from a relationship why get into another? live your life you have a chance now you were married young and had kids young! now its your time to shine but don't forget about your Lil ones. trust me I know how guys are here in Cali but I think its like that everywhere! men are so evil j/k us women are too.

i got married at the age of 17. we were married for 6 months when he went to prison. he was an alcoholic, stole vehicles and all that bad stuff. i stayed married to him for 3 years. i never saw him again after he went to prison but i finally got divorced. i am married again and this guy treats me really well. it took me 6 years but i found him. you will find someone. there are a lot of guys out there, just make sure you find one who will love your kids As much as you. if you don't then it will be doomed from the start. good luck and don't give up.

Maybe you are just looking in the wrong places. For instance, if you are meeting all these "dumb guys" at bars, stay away from the bar scene. Either start dating online at sites like match.com or become involved in some social groups that you may be interested in.

You are standing on your own two feet and are in no way, shape or form damaged. You are just maturing like a fine wine. We are all different and you are no longer a "poor little me". There are good men out there and women, too. I have a sister who is a police officer and her husband sells insurance and they have been married 35 years. She is a few years older than he is, too. Take this time to improve on yourself.
Forget about finding someone else while you have a negative self image. If you do, you will settle for someone who does not deserve you. Get yourself more beautiful on the inside. Someone will notice.

Unless you divorced for the right and scriptural reasons, a good man wont bother with you. Good is defined by behaviors, what they will do, who they let close and what they tolerate.
Face it. You are divorced. If you didnt divorce because he cheated on you, then you divorced wrongly and any man who is really a good man will not bother with you, for you put him in jeapardy.
Yeah, harsh by standards of today, but todays standards stink anyway. Even if harsh, true.

Stop looking... get your kids involved in sports and other activities.... Trust me you will meet a lot of men .... that are also great dads
