I used to have the same problems especially when I worked for an insurance company. They would tell me what it was I needed to do and I would THINK I understood... they didn't like that I was slow learning.
So what I started doing was, I would write down everything they said, like a "To do List".. and I would repeat back to the supervisor telling me what to do to CONFIRM what it was they were saying....this way if I misunderstood something it got corrected and I'd write it all down...then had THEM to sign it... Then at the end of the day I'd have my check list all done and it started working out.
Sometimes, (especially for a deaf person like me) it takes time to learn new things that you're not sure of. And if you are really trying hard, they'll take that into account. I've learned a lot and now I don't learn as slow as I follow this everytime with my "check list"...it's a little time consuming at first but it works! Don't quit on yourself...don't give up; don't let it get to you that someone's coming in behind you to check your work.
So when you go back to work on Monday...go in with your "To Do List" and write down everything they tell you to do....and have the supervisor sign it....this way they can't come back and say you didn't do something right because you'll have that proof that your supervisor said everything on the check list was right... Some places likes to trip you up and tell you you've made a mistake when you really didn't because they do not want to own up to the responsibility..so they look for the easiest scape goat.
HANG IN THERE!

Make sure you understand your superior's instructions. Ask questions if you are not sure. You don't say what you do. Find out if the Human Resources (employment dept) has any training sessions that would make your work better and more productive. You might consider taking a writing course if you're in an office type of job.

Are you better off there then with no job/income? Can you live without the job? Don't quit until you have something else lined up.

There is no shame in being a slow learner. At least you own up to it.

Don't quit or resign, just keep learning and try harder. I have never fired anyone who kept trying to learn.

I have had jobs that were hard for me to learn and I would go home at night and think that if I laid down all the information that I had learned that day would pour out of my ears. I have always, in every job I have ever had, made it to a managerial position.

If you feel like you are not going to succeed then you wont, so just get that thought out of your head and keep trying.

Good Luck to you.
