I tell you what, people think that if you carry low, it's a boy, and if you carry high it's a girl. I am pregnant with my second girl and both pregnancies have been carried low. Some people think that if you hold a string over your belly and put your wedding ring on it and if it swings one way, it's a boy and the other way, it's a girl. But when I did that with my first one, it said I would have a boy. the only way I feel you can really know for sure is if you have a sonogram done. Good luck.

Nope! The only sure sign is a chromosome test like the CVS. It actually gives you the baby's XY or XX chromosome results. Other than that, they can probably tell later in the pregnancy, but my sister was suppose to have a girl her entire pregnancy, and she had a boy, so nothing is 100% except for the chromosome tests. The nurse in my doctor's office said there is an old wive's tale about a faster heartbeat meaning the baby is a girl. My baby had the faster heartbeat - and SHE seems to have gone along with that old wive's tale.

They don't really work, but are lots of fun. They are all over the internet.
