Well, I have a brother in law who is prepared. He's got a place in the middle of nowhere in Utah. he can live off the grid (solar electricity) has is own source of water, power and food. Lots of weapons to protect his stash, Geiger counters, protective suits, etc. So- he'll probably make it. He had it all set up when he thought the world was going to come to an end with the Y2K bug. (he had lotsa' extra money and time)
But- I'm not so sure that I'd want to survive a nuclear Armageddon. I'm well prepared to successfully live in our current high tech world, but haven't prepared myself to live in this one in the future.
