Absolutely it is life threatening, a person may be able to gain back the majority of there function if the stroke was very mild...Having a mild stroke puts u at risk for another one and a more severe on....a stroke a blood clot in the brain which account for up to 80% of strokes is most common. 20% percent is the bleeding in the brain....Strokes are very serious.....If a person is to have a serious stroke then they will loose quite abit of the mobility function usually on one side of there body....

All strokes are life threatning. If you want to see that people can be normal, and go on with their life after a stroke. Look up Teddi Bruschi of the New England Patriots. He had a stroke, and was out playing in the NFL an few months later!!

The answer is yes to both questions. Any stroke has the potential to be life threatening and many people are not permanently affected by a stroke. Depends on where in the brain the clot was.

A stroke is a blockage of blood to the brain, so YES it is life threatening. If not damaging to the brain and leaving ther person with disabilities. BUT a person can recover from a stroke if treated quickly and followed by a lot of therapies including speech therapy, physicial therapy, and others.

Yes, they are. A person may never return to normal after a stroke, as normal is defined by the one answering the question. The real definition, I believe, of normal is the position to face and adapt to one's circumstances. By that definition, yes it able to return to normal, by their own definition, not the definition according to some.

It depends on how severe the stroke was. Sometimes ppl are fine, other times ppl can have problems after, like speech, walking, or just doing everyday simple tasks.
