My husband and I were at his class reunion weeks ago. Later in the evening, one of the wives of a former classmate of his, completely inebriated, was talking to he and I and all of a sudden leaned towards him and kissed him on the mouth!! I was shocked. She walked away to engage someone else in conversation. My husband did nothing to invite it, but did nothing to stop it. He said he was also stunned. Should this concern me? I have dreams about this happening and it did. I should have stepped in and told her WHOA, but it happened so fast. How do I get this image out of my head?

What happened to you, however unfortunate, should really not be of much concern. His former classmate was drunk just like you said so she was obviously not very inhibited if she's willing to kiss someone in front of their wife. I understand why your husband would not do anything to stop it if he was truly shocked. Putting myself in that situation, I would probably freeze from shock as well. After the fact, you should've told her to get away and that it was rude and inapproprite and disrespectful but lets face it, you missed your chance.

Just remember that it is better to forgive and forget than to resent and remember. Your husband went home with YOU that night so it's obvious who he stands by :D

Anyway, I'm sure your husband is embarrassed by this also but I still think you should bring it up and get it off your chest. Hopefully it will do some good to hear how he feels about it. Good luck.

You can't tell me that you wouldn't be paralyzed with surprise for at least a few seconds if somebody wandered up out of nowhere and smooched you. You, being a girl, would be able to get away with punching the person afterward, but most men are still raised to not hit women, which eliminated a lot of his possible reactions afterward.

The girl was in the wrong for doing it, and for being so drunk that she couldn't consider the consequences of her actions. But you're in the wrong for letting it get to you like this. It's not like you see this woman on a regular basis, is it? High school reunions only happen once every ten, maybe five years. She's not a threat, and you insult your husband grievously by treating her like one.

SO DISRESPECTFUL!!! When I read it I wanted to kick her ***..lol If you ever run into her again make sure to walk up to her and tell her exactly how disrespectful it was and that it will never happen again with your husband. Tell her she should watch her actions next time someone may not just sit there in shock like you...she might get a smack upside the head next time. Other than that your stuck with the image. Some people suck theres nothing you can do now. Just forget it.

I think she may have been a bit randy from the drink... Also the next day there is a good chance she didn't remember much of what she did at the reunion... I wouldn't worry to much... I'm sure your husband was taken off guard as well... I guess it could happen as fast as a sucker punch, by the time you think... it's already over and to late... Take the moment in jest and let that be your memory...

If she was inebriated and your husband was stunned I say forget it and move on...she sounds like a real clown with some issues. You missed your opportunity to address the correct person. You're right, you should have stepped in immediately or threw your drink in her slutty face but you didn't. You failed to react. If you over anylyze this now (which it sounds like you will) you will drive yourself and your husband crazy. It's too late to do anything about it.

Why worry about this theres more important things in your life to deal with than a drunk old friend/schoolmate giving hubby a little smack on the lips. Give him a little teasing about it and have a laugh about it , and move on. Dont take everything so seriously ,think about it just out of nowhere this drunk kisses him and walks off ,thats funny stuff.Chances are she dont even remember doing it.

No... it all depends. If it is like an old friend, don't worry. If it seemed passionate at all, then consider speaking with him about it and let him know. If I were in this situation, then I would also post a question but also set aside all the possible answers and get his opinion first, then ask the question to the public.

You obviously can't change the past. But maybe talking to your husband about it and how it made you feel. Getting it out may help. And he'll hopefully assure you that it freaked him out too and that it was highly inappropriate. That should put your mind to rest and you can stop picturing women just walking up on the street and kissing him. Ha-ha.

Maybe she was so drunk that she doesn't realize what she did. do you know this woman personally? If so, then you should confront her about this incident. If, however, you know you won't be seeing her anytime soon, then just try to forget about it. I'm not sure what to say about your dreams, though. Our dreams sometimes reveal things that are buried in our subconsciousness. Maybe you're concerned about your relationship with your husband. With this in mind I think you should talk things over with him, make sure you two are on the same page regarding your relationship. The dream doesn't mean that he's cheating on you, though, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. Hope this helps...

it sounds like the woman just made a fool out of herself.it doesn't sound like your husband liked it unfortunately there are people in this world like her who maybe didn't think it was a big deal or wanted to cause problems.if i was you i would just laugh it off if that happened to me and my husband i probably wouldn't have taken it as well as you but what if the situation was reversed? and some guy all of a sudden some guy just kisses you in front of your husband.don't let it get to you obviously your husband was violated!
