irregular menses could mean hormonal problems which may interfere with ovulation and leads to infertility...see an obgyn

My advice would be to see your Ob/Gyn. I had irregular periods all my life, except when on the BC pill. When I was TTC, my doctor had to get my periods semi regulated first. I also learned that just because you have a period doesn't mean you ovulate too. I never did ovulate. Your doctor should be able to evaluate you and listen to your concerns so that you and your doctor can figure out the best care for you. Good Luck!

YES, but you should be keeping track of your cycles.....taking and charting your body temperature every morning before you get out of bed, and taking ovulation urine tests (just like a pregnancy test).

These things will tell you almost exactly when you are ovulating. When you don't have periods as often, it helps.

Good luck!

It will probably be a bit more difficult, but to be sure you should make an appointment with your Gyno and get a thorough work-up done. Make sure everything is in good working order and see what he or she says about your irregularities (because frankly we don't know squat!).
