I am currently looking for a website that is free for me to look up a piece of land history, not historical, where someone lives, if anyone could suggest one, it would be appreciated very much!!!!!

Most large markets have the information on the county appraisers web site. When you do the google search for the area you are looking for, search for the particular county and then property appraiser. For example, I live in Miami-Dade County in Florida, so the info is located at this website, hope that helps.

In the US, I would say try the county or city assessor's office. They should have a history of who has owned it in the past and how much was it sold for.
