I think you're pretty silly if you think old planes from Russia, primitive atomic weapons and other weapons of mass destruction could do as much harm
to the USA, as reducing those cities and villages to cinders in an afternoon. Iran is a third rate backward country. It has some money from oil, but the government structure could be brought down. Islam won't go away, but a constant battle could force Iran back into the stone age with no communications, no airports, no television or radio; and millions dying slow radioactive death.

IF we were like that, and because we actually could do it, we would be thumping our chests and threatening. IF we were as crazy as that bunch of cleric lunatics, we would do it. And so they will if we wait and give them the chance.

We could have stopped Hitler in 1936, I hope we've learned some lessons. Perhaps the sacrifice in an afternoon of 50 million and a civilization would be worth it in the long run and a "peace" through force might be achieved.

Russia and France would go along with anything as long as they got their share of the spoils (OIL). The rest of the world's Muslims might then be told to shut up, take a more reserved stance in their religion and come into the 21 Century with the rest of us.
The politicians have to side-step all the issues and be politically correct, but underneath all the legalese and mumbo jumbo the Muslim nations are 1000 years behind in everything that hasn't actually been given and developed for them.
