My company is looking into switching our company trucks because the Powerstrokes are letting us down lately. We need something for towing that has good power and won't leave us on the side of the road.

The 7.3 Powerstroke was king until 2002, the new 6.0 ford is
a nightmare and Dodge now has the best Diesel without a doubt.

I have had the Cummins. Look at the construction of the engines. The Cummins is an industrial built diesel that is used in medium duty appilcations.

Plus, durability and lovegevity of the Cummins has been PROVEN better than the Powerstroke or the Duramax!

I wish I could help out more...I just don't know. I haven't driven any of them. However, in case you decide do put some time into the Powerstrokes, try asking some questions in here...

I've been going to these guys for years about my Bronco, and they all know their stuff. I think the site is like 300k members strong now, and they're crazy about their Ford Trucks. That link is just to the diesel section, but there are dozens of other forums. Check it out...may save you a few bucks.

Besides...you're not going to get a good answer anyways. Ford guys are going to say Chevy sucks, Chevy guys are going to say Ford sucks, and the Dodge guys just mutter "Hemi, Hemi, Hemi..." all day long.
