I was 2 centimeters for three weeks and went into full blown labour and delivery at 39 weeks....your going anyday now...start walking! Good luck!!

I totally understand what your going through. I was the exact same way. I was 1 cm FOREVER (at least it seemed that way) Heres the thing, your body will go when it is ready. NOTHING will make it go any sooner... Believe me I tried EVERYTHING!!! You name it I tried. I eventually got induced B/C of a certian situation. They were very weary though b/c my cervix wasn't ripe, and it could have lead to difficulties in labor.
But on the upside, contrations cause you to dialate. So you'll know your about ready when you start having painful contrations. ( I say painful becuase I had 9 hours of regular contractions but they were never enough to do anything:() Good luck and hang in there! It will come soon enough.

I am pretty sure you can go into labor at any time. They may have to break your water and give you some meds to thin your cervix, but at any time your water could break on its own. I was only 2 cm when I went into labor with my oldest, I had back labor and really didtn know I was in labor. They broke my water at 2.5 and after that it went fast,lol.

You're on your way but you still have some time to wait. I was three centimetres dilated for over a week, and my doctor still had to break my water and induce me. Everyone is different but hang in there.

I was dialted to 4, for 13 weeks, and no medical intervention, just bed rest for 4 weeks.
you can go into labor at any time. I delivered w/my second at 37 weeks.

Sweetheart...i feel for you. There is nothing you can do except wait. The answer to your question is that you can still go into labor. I gave birth to my son dialated to a 4. It hurt like H*LL but it happened.

My friend was dilated at 3cm for 3 weeks! Sorry! Good luck, and just stay calm. That is the worse dilemma....WAITING.

yes. you are slowing entering labor. you are in whats called early labor, try walking or sex or nipple stimulation good luck and congrats
