Speaking from the experience of having literally been OBSESSED with a man for about five years or so I understand what you're goining through. Right now you are romanticizing all of the positive traits and the good times that the two of your shared. What would be more beneficial to you is to focus on his negative traits, ways in which he hurt you or held you back, and some on the not so good times. I've found it helps to put things into better perspective. And another thing, find something to do that does not allow you the time to dwell on him. I could give you a few more options but for that you need to privately email me. Feel free to do so. I'd like to be of assistance if I can. I truly do know how hard this is for you.

Go out and do other activities to take your mind off of him. At the beginning, it will be very hard to forget...but after a while, the memories will slowly begin to fade. I would suggest waiting at least 6 months to a year before getting involved in another relationship again...no matter how tempting it might be. This will give you time to find out more about yourself and what you really want.

Good luck!

You need to find something else to do besides wondering what he is doing. Go out with your friends. When you start to think about him stop and think about something else. You will never get over him if you are always thinking about him.

Well, try to find somehting else to do fun, that you guys didn't do together, or if you just can't stop... go up to your attic or room or something and comit that this is the last time I will obsess over him, and I won't let him distract me from my dailies.

Replace those thoughts with other thoughts immediately. Keep busy. Read a book. Do some charity work. Pray. It will only take awhile... you'll see!

well there is no quick fix. you have to accept the pain, its okay to hurt and cry it will make you feel better. You need time, take up cooking whatever. You can do what jessica simpson does and take up cooking cakes and cupcakes, says it worked for her!
