Children are starving.
Folks are out of work.

Corrupt government letting corporations take over.
Racism, sexism, and all other isms.
Poor public schools...

The list goes on and on...........

Ummm... no... All the talk that's been going on about that this summer is just pre-election fodder. This is an election year - "problem" and "solution" have ambivalent meanings.

The real problem, though, is the erosion of rights of American citizens and the increasing danger we face as a result of our disasterous foreign policy. Illegal immigrants barely begin to enter into it.

But in any case... Do you know how hard it is to get a passport in Mexico? Does the Mexican president give a damn about the dangers his own people face in trying to make a better life for themselves? Many Mexicans used to cross the border just to work for a while and then go back to their homes. But as border security tightened and the crossing became more dangerous, many decided they would be much better off just crossing once and staying here for good. There are at least two areas that need to be examined: Mexican policy on immigration into the US, and US policy on Mexican workers and immigrants. Until the two countries work together, it will continue to be a mess.

Illegal Immigrants take our jobs(don't tell me someone in the US wouldn't do those jobs) They also feed off of the system that we as legal taxpayers pay for with our hard earned taxes. They actually collect the taxes we won't be able to get when we retire. Not all problems will be solved by getting them out of the country but its a start. Also by asking for lower wages they lower the need for employers to pay a fair wage. Again hurting our economy. Why is it they can't stand up in there country to fight for what they believe. It would also be nice for them to learn the native language if they are going to be here. That is still English.

Yes, and its not true, we need a lot more than ousting illegal immagrants, we need to oust the goverment. that allows anyone free access to my contributions to the nhs, whilst i a mere tax payer cannot get my bin emptied, and have to wait two years to see the same doctor that i could see if only my tax contributions were not so high in the first place, i am told when i can smoke ,where i can smoke, yet thre traffic that is increasing at an alarming rate spew out thier filth past my house that i pay the local goverment a bigger percentage of my wage than a income tax payer pays to live in the country of his choice, and pays no council tax at all , sorry about the rant ,i feel better now. regards LF

Not at all. Because they aren't causing all our problems in this country. I just think it would be nice if they weren't illegal

You cannot deny they are also a big help. Some employers would not let go of them because they dont complain much and they're not that expensive. The immigrants are on the losing end. Let us not be too harsh on them.

Absolutely not, and we'd undoubtedly find or make more problems to replace what few were solved--what a silly question!
