If you are sharing a bed,is it right that the person who gets up last should always make the bed?

The maid...lol j/k the last one out of course!!! Why would the first one make it while the other one was still in it. If this is your biggest problem...YOUR DOING GREAT!

I am a stay at home mom, so of course I get up last and I do make the bed. Even if I worked I would probably still do it, like the other guy said, it only takes 30 sec. My husband don't care to climb in an unmade bed, but I personally think it feels nicer when the sheets are straighten up. Just do it.....Take care and good luck bed making.

For good sleep a bed needs to be properly aired. If you are suggesting that you are hot bed hopping there has to be a time when the bedding needs airing. I like my bed aired the pillows plumped up the duvet opened the bottom sheet smoothed and the curtains opened and the window too for fresh air and sunshine to naturally cleanse. My husband just throwsthe cover over when he gets up. Its a matter of hygiene and comfort. Lying on greasy sheets with bits of crumbs and old skin and body hair is never an option so whoever cares enough takes responsibility.

Shift workers will apparently both be making the bed so that it is ready for the other.

The last one up should make the bed. If your not in it at the same times then whenever you get up, if it has to be made, then make it, both of you.
My personal thought is straighten the covers and leave it at that.

Nobody what is the damn point you are just going to mess it up the next night....lol Just joking I make my bed, my husband works, so yeah whoever cleans the house makes the bed
