Yeah, I've done that. The last stupid thing I did was recently, when I fixed a glass of chocolate milk, and put the chocolate in the fridge, and couldn't figure out why the gallon of milk would not fit into the cabinet. It took several moments to realize it. Brain farts happen...lol

RFLMBO....I actually did this!!
We moved in '93, but our new house was not ready yet.
So, we moved in with my parents for a week. Well, I decided
to give my Mom a call (she was not home) and I kept getting
a busy signal. Well, hubby came home first (my parents house)
and I said I'd been trying to call Mom for the last three hours and
the line was busy...and he said hun, we're here at your parents,
so you were using her phone, dialing her number! LOL
Now, talk about having your mind in the dead zone!! Sheesh!

Yes I have. What's worse with my having a cell phone and numbers programmed in, I've gotten lazy and don't memorize phone numbers anymore. It's really bad when you battery on your cell phone dies and you can't remember the phone number of the person you need to call.

I actually did just the other day. I was trying to call my mother and it was busy so I waited like 10 minutes and called again. it was still busy and thats when I realized what I was doing.

Wow, I have yet to do that one. I once put a goofy recorded message on my phone so that when anyone called, it got the classic beep-tone and "the number you have dialed..." I ticked off a lot of friends that way!

no,not as yet, when i do locate my cell, have been known to roam through the numbers to see what my house phone number is, how often does one call themselves, when they live alone with kitty

I have called my own number several time and it was the wrong number. the girl at the other end just says hun you have the wrong no. again. i can't remember my own no.

LOL. I've done this at least two times. But both times I was blindingly drunk and was, in fact, trying to drunk call my mother. So, it all worked out for the best.......

if you will believe it i did this just yesterday
trying to call my fiance' i kept calling my house phone forgetting that it was forwarded to my cell and wonder why it just kept going to voice mail and i knew he was at home

when u pick up your receiver in your hand or just keep ur phone in dialling tone it is like ur phone is busy so its in use so if u call ur number u'll be gettting busy tone
