If left on their own, boys and girls will naturally separate, like on the playground for example. Girls want to stand around and gossip, boys want to go play army.
A great book about the subject is "The War Against Boys - How Misguided Feminism is Harming Our Young Men," by Christina Hoff Sommers. Very eye-opening.

No, I think this is a very bad thing.
In cultures such as the Saudi Arabian Sharia-based one, the boys and girls are separated, and the boys are given dominion over their sisters. Same deal in Syria.
Then you hear things like young males murdering their sisters or men murdering their daughters for "family honor".
By separating male and female children, they are never made to realize that BOTH genders are humans, that they share similar likes and dislikes and are, other than "plumbing" equal.

I think girls and boys should be separated during school hours only.It has been proved time and again that both sexes do better in school/college exams if they are kept away from the opposite sex.Outside school hours, they should mix with the opposite sex to gain experience of the opposite sex.

Do you mean do I agree with the policy? If so I would say no because if kept apart forever no new kiddies are created?

I don't agree with seperating them. I don't understand the second part of your question.

Yes. It helps both of them. It enables them to know themselves first before they seek to know others.
