I was told today that at 31, I am "far removed from the college scene." Do you think that 31 is THAT out of touch?!? :) How old are you, and what do you think is too old to relate to the college scene?
(BTW: My husband is 7 years younger than I am, and I recently taught on the university level.... Does that make me super old? Ha-ha.)

Old for one person is different for another. I know people in their 80s that think they are young. I know people in their 50s that are very old.

60 is the new 40.

I think 85 is probably old.

I figure I will live to be at least 110 and then I will probably be shot by a jealeous husband.

I'm 59 now and I am not old. Check with me in 51 years.

I'm 29.
At 31 you're definitenly not old but yes, you are "far removed from the college scene".
Just think about when you were in college, what did you think of people in their early 30's? OLD

Well, considering that 50 is the new 40 and 40 is the new 30 who knows. I'm 32 and sometimes feel 132 if you know what I mean. I think age is in your head. My Mom in law is 84 and still works 6 days a week. She can run circles around me and my wife...I don't consider her old at all. It depends on the person and how they live their life.

If that's the case then I'm ancient.
Kids think 20's as old and the 20's think 40's is old...it seems the older you get......old is getting older.
