How did you get into MySpace? Do you use it often?

I originally got on because my kids told me about it. It's a good way to see a lil window into their soul, and yet not be too nosey. We have a lot of fun, and I've even made some friends too!

Too much fluff in the content and the format for me. I enjoy blogging and have a MySpace, but I began ignoring it long ago. Obviously, others feel differently. I'm glad that you are enjoying your experience there.

I am 30 and I have MySpace. I started using it after many of my friends asked if I was on there yet.
I wasn't into the whole idea of it, but I have found some friends that I lost contact with and it is a nice way to keep in touch with family since I moved 700 miles away from them.

I will be 33 tomorrow and I have had a MySpace for over two years. Nobody introduced me to it - I just stumbled upon it. I've met all sorts of interesting people and some really good friends, too.

My page is private, but here's my link none the less: http://www.myspace.com/abigoraraya

No, I don't. I'm 59 1/2, and to me, MySpace is pretty exclusively for kids. I do have a 360 page, though, because I see that as more open-ended in style, and I have many friends about my own age in the circle of Yahoo! 360. Also, there's a direct link to it from here, so that makes it more useful to me.

nah-I tried but just can't get into the whole idea of it--its definitely a younger generation thing. If I had children though I would be hip into having one--not to so much spy into their stuff, just to keep an eye on all the other crazy people out there. Stay cool like that as a mom and you should have fewer problems with your kids. and oh-have fun

I do have one, but for the sole purpose of monitoring my SD's my space -- which to me has lots of totally inappropriate stuff on it (that my husband won't make her remove)....but that is another story.

I have gotten weird emails twice -- from people who say they like my pics (I have a care bear) and that I am sexy -- that they are sexy and I should contact them off of myspace -- ick.

I am glad you have had fun with it. I can't say I think anything very good about it. From what I can see it is a site for teens to post pics of themselves in slutty poses, or worse, and to have silly surveys about what kind of kisser they are, or other various sex quizzes. We did silly things when we were teens with our friends, in our rooms. Not online to share with 25-30 of our "closest friends".

Nah I wanted to but I decided not to go through with it.
I do not allow my kids on there cause of all the weird people. I have heard a lot of stuff about it.
