My husband bought some "numbing" lubrication for anal sex... and we used it and it worked really good....Has anyone else tried it? Has anyone had any problems with it?

I haven't ever used it, but lots of people do. I would just be cautious of using too much because you don't want to stay numb down there for too long.

I think you should take it pretty slow with that kind of thing. Any time a part on your body is hurting or causing you pain, it's not something you should just try to turn off. There's usually a good reason--you're damaging tissue. Additionally, I would be concerned with the origins of this lubricant, I'm fairly certain that any topical ointments that cause numbness would either have to be Rx prescribed. Just grabbing a topical numbing agent and stuffing it into your butt could be fairly dangerous in terms of absorption into your body or ODing.

Make sure that you've consulted a doctor. Even if you're interested in doing this illegally, a doctor will help you.

Use it on your husband and see what a fan he stays.

At any rate, the idea of the numbing is great, except too much makes them really relax their ***, making it impossible to get off. Plus, some say it burns up there.

Other than it numbing the sensation of it, no problems. I refuse to use it because when it numbs me it also numbs my partner therefore making it more difficult for him to get off. But it also works great for minor cuts and scrapes or when you bite the inside of your cheek.

I've never tried toothpaste, but I know that "cooling" sensation feels very good.
