The quality of strings can vary a lot. If you buy "budget" strings expect budget performance. Quality strings sound better and stay in tune longer, if fitted properly. All metal strings should be gently stretched when fitted. Check they dont stick in the nut. The nut can be lubricated with pencil graphite, the softer the pencil the better (2B 4B or 6B). When fitting ensure the string has 2 and a half turns round the tuner downwards - that is the turns are above the string as it goes to the nut. Try to keep the guitar at an even temperature, as sudden changes will affect the tuning. Keep practicing regularly, and ROCK ON!

when you put new strings on a guitar they have to be stretched a little. after they are stretched it should stay in tune. if it dont, you need a better guitar. tune the guitar and then do some bends on all the strings and then re-tune it, do that a couple times it might work

Ask the guy at the shop, maybe there is a better make of string.
I guess it's the streching of the string that takes it out of tune.

To "B" or not to "B", that is the question. I guess, it is not to "B".
