My period ended last week and me and my partner had sex. Someone said it was safe to do so, so we weren't aware that later the condom accidentally broke and he came inside me. I took the morning after pill (emergency contraceptive pill) within the first 24 hrs. Now dat was 2 days ago. We thought it would be ok to do it after now dat we got the situation covered by takin the pill! We did it again today and the condom broke and he ejaculated inside me. I dunno wat contraceptive method i should use. Could there be a possible chance of me fallin pregnant?

Have you ever heard of the rhythm method? It allows you to have sex one week before and one week after you have your period and you won't get pregnant. I worked for me for 5 years. but you should get better condoms or maybe use contraceptive films their next to the condoms. I think you should be safe because you don't start ovulating untill 14 days after you stoped your period.

It is never safe to have sex...there are times you are more fertile than others, but since sperm live inside you could still get pregnant.

You are clearly not being responsible or using protection responsibly....the condom broke TWICE????? I've never had that happen once.

DO NOT RELY ON RHYTHM....Ever notice how big most Catholic families.....also, it does not protect against STD
Perhaps you need to refrain from having sex until you can be a bit more responsible with it....besides the morning after pill ended your chance of conception....not HIV/AIDS, HPV (which causes cancer) and many other STDs.

You should use back up methods...maybe you need to be on the pill if you're going to keep having sex with these condoms that break so easily.

Get good quality condoms and use them......you can also use a sponge or spermicide jelly.

You should also get on the pill or the shot since you aren't really all that responsible.

Of course there is a chance you could be pregnant.

First of all, can you two buy a different brand of condoms? Perhaps you are buying the wrong size? Maybe you are going toooooo long with the same condom and the thing should be changed out / replaced before you get to point of him finishing? (I know that kills the romance a bit, but... Having a baby when you aren't ready to can kill romance as well.

Another suggestion is this, you might want to use some foam with the condom, it adds to the lubrication and well, if the condom breaks, you have a healthier backup other than that morning after pill. (I don't like the idea of those things).

Even though you took the morning after pill 2 days ago there is a chance of you getting pg now...not sure what the chances are...but it is there. My suggestion, buy new condoms in a bigger size. Maybe they won't break then. Also talk to your Dr. about birth control. If you really do not want to get pg then you need to take other steps to prevent it. Short of not having sex, birth control pills and condoms mixed together should help.

yes you can get pregnant. As long as it's safe take another one. You really should look into regular birth control. And figure out why the condom keeps breaking. (possibly lack of lubrication) Remember, even when a condom is used properly you still have a 14% chance of getting pregnant! So go for some birth control honey!

gettin a better condom is not the answer stop put you trust in man made device how many have bought something and then no sooner then you look around it's falling apart and you say damn i just got that. the true answer not trying to be smart but keep your leg close, unless of course the guy is putting holes in the condom to get you pregnant for security blank. other then not go to a clinic and you both ask them to teach you how to put a condom on. Because breakage only happend to me once it was because i had it pull down to tight didn't leave no slack. I can tell how durable these little condom is a watch a lady in our sex education class about 10 years ago who had aids show us how to correctly put on a condom and she use a cheap one every bodys was like ohhh i need a magnum that cheap is to small for my penis the lady was like bullsh__ unless you got a shovel diggin a grave then no women would have sex with you anyway she to the free condom and put it on her hand pulled it all the way down to her elbows you should seen the horrid look on everyone face cause this was a big lady and her arms where fat and she put little piece of condom on her arm to her elbows so darling please be more careful that best way to pratice safe sex is to not have any

first off you need to learn to use a condom properly.....they shouldn't be breaking every time. Maybe you need to get on the pill, or patch or something similar...of course that requires being responsible for taking it regularly too. You should continue to use condoms even if you do find another form of birth control. And yes.....any time you have unprotected sex you could get pregnant.

You need to see a health care professional and get help choosing the best birth control method for you(probably not condoms alone anymore, eh?) Any good women's clinic or Planned Parenthood will help you with that and also if you did happen to become pregnant. Of course it is possible.

Yes there's a chance. Either get better condoms or wait until you have a ring and a marriage license before you have sex again. You could end up with an unwanted pregnancy.

Get on the pill and you won't have to worry about breaking condoms.

But, until that starts taking effect I suggest getting the correct size condom and spending a little more money on a better rubber.
