No matter how bad it seems, other people will be getting it worse. Think of the millions of people dying due to where they live, and count yourself lucky you are not one of them.
Although such job changes are often very unpleasant at the time, and I have been there so I do know, they can force you to rethink what you are doing and perhaps consider something else or a new career, that you would not have otherwise even thought of. The world is a big place, and there will always be somewhere else you can go. Think that if you have to change jobs, you can take the opportunity to make a clean start living somewhere else that is perhaps more interesting, rather than sticking to the same old place and routines. Also be prepared, and ask the people you know and trust where you work if they would be prepared to act as a reference for you if you need to leave.

First off, you need to put it in your head that if you are in the unemployment queue, that they just lost their opportunity to have the best employee in the world. If they don't want you that's alright because there is someone much smarter than them out there that does. When one door closes another will open and you have to be ready to walk through it.
I have found that every thing happens for a reason even if we can't see that reason right now for ourselves. If you loose this job that just means that there is a better one out there for you just waiting for you to interview for.
Have a nice relaxing weekend and then get out there Monday morning and get that new job. It is right around the corner and it is waiting for you to apply.
Good Luck.

I once went to a job interview when I had flu. My Mum and Dad had to take me because I could hardly stand up and I looked absolutely dog rough. When I got there there were a few other applicants and they were all really smartly dressed and perky looking. When I went in I could hardly think straight and I had to keep wiping my streaming nose and I thought I had no chance. I got the job though! People always perceive you differently than you do yourself. What you thought was a bad interview might have been viewed as a really good one by the interviewer.
You should cheer yourself up by treating yourself to something nice to eat and drink and then having a bath and pampering yourself and watching one of your favourite films. Or you could go out drinking and get hammered!
Good Luck with the job, you never know, it could've gone better than you thought.

Dont worry, if you are a lawyer go into divorce, at least then you can work in the knowledge that you are helping to make your clients the most desperate, miserable and broke people in the country while you sit back and write hundreds of meaningless letters and make an absolute fortune, that thought should make any Lawyer smile.

Ah just chalk it down to experience and forget about it! You had an off day is all - head out for yourself tonight and take yourself on a shopping spree tomorrow - you wont even remember you had the interview after that! xx

Cause you had a bad day, you're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know, you tell me don't lie
You work on a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day, the camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day... you had a bad day
Retail therapy?

please try not to focus too much on the negative and try to focus more on the positive.
if it is a job that you are already doing, then they will know what you are capable of all ready.
so although i know it is always easier said than done, try not to worry about it,
it will only make you feel worse than you already do,
how about getting together with a few friends? they will help to take your mind of it, and you could even end up having a great time.
just remember what is meant to be, will be.
good luck to you and i hope all goes well for you.

Pick yourself up by your boot straps (that's what my grandmother always tells me)! Just think, when you're on unemployment, you'll get, what, 2/3 of your usual pay for not having to work at all! That's reason enough to be cheerful.
