Sorry - *Smoking - and also I have NO intention whatsoever of going back to smoking but Im on NRT and over the last week Ive had really bad stomach cramps and Nausea and I was wondering if it was lack of cigareets or The inhalator that had anything to do with it

It's your way of being upset over quitting your addiction. The mind is very clever and can actually trick you into things like that. If you resumed smoking on the basis that you are suffering actual illness then in a way you are shaking off the responsibility and have an excuse why you can't quit. Clever, eh? Talk to your GP and explain this to him. Wonder what they'll say.

Look, smoking is a serious addiction, and you can have ANY NUMBER of weird symptoms. I had headaches for a week, stomach aches can be a sign of stress or just random body anger. Just stay away from smokes, better to have an upset stomach than cancer.

YES it can, I experienced this and the nhs poo-poohed it! (I got bad stomach cramps) Since then I've heard other smokers quitting the habit say the same. I wish they would just listen to patients sometimes (sort of reminds me of politicians as well). Good luck!

Yes don't forget you have not only been inhaling the crap but eating it also give it time. Your saliva will revert to normal as well this will aid digestion.

Keep it up for your sake.

It could be withdrawal symptoms or stress related but if it persists more than a few days you should see your doctor.
