sometimes people write questions that are so dumb and pointless that its obvious they need to get a life.

I agree, that is a truly ironic statement, because u must have life to read life. But yes I think dumb lazy ignorant mean jerk-y and intolerant people all fit the profile. Most users seem to be really interested in getting answers, others are just being silly, but the idea is communication, banter, q&a and fun! That' s why God gave us computers, worldwide communication at the touch of a button.

No it is something to say when the persona sking the question asks something idiotic. For instance "YES! I got to Level 7 what should I do now that I have wated hours upon hours on this website" The asnwer would be to... "get a life"

Well I guess so a certain extent some of us do need to get a life. We spend so much time on Yahoo Answers that we ignore life as it's happening around us.

They're hypocrites. I actually searched her answers and saw that woman who'd said that to me had said the SAME thing I had said herself!!!!! I'm sure it made her feel important to tell me to get a life when she's on Yahoo answers dishing it out, thinking no one will ever know what SHE has said herself too. You can learn a lot about people by reading their answers.

Because some questions are so asinine, they don't seem real, and the asker needs to find something better to do with his/her time. I usually tell them to go clean their room. (I assume they're kids)
