I think guns are dangerous weapons made even more dangerous in the hands of those who have no business with them. I think we should have stronger gun control laws. Yes we have the right to bear arms, but see what happens when guns go into the hands of the wrong people.

I find it very tempting to interpret the second amendment to say that "A well regulated militia" has the right to bear arms, and then only in order to preserve "the security of a free State". I might say that nowhere does it say individual members of the public have that right.

When people object to gun control, it always seems to be people who know how to safely use/store their guns safely - but they make no effort to reign in those bozos, who have no business owning a gun (people who leave armed unlocked firearms around the house, when their grandson comes to visit, people who are almost blind, people who have Parkinsons, etc.)
