I was not in when he entered my room without my knowledge nor my permission, stealing my tv, dvd, laundry baskets amongst other things. Now, to put the cherry on the cake, he is suing me for possession of my car as well as making false accusations about my person, has taken an restraining order out against me in which it claims I cannot come near him, as if I want to, as well as my four year old son. He is claiming that I am a drug addict and am abusing my son as well as him. However, if the truth be told, he has just basically turned our roles around as he is the one abusing me, verbally and physically, not caring whether our son is in our presence or being exposed to such horrendous and unnecessary behaviour. I have not seen my son for the last six weeks nor have I been allowed any form of contact with him via the telephone and am not even permitted to write him a letter. I am utterly horrified and am extremelly depressed and distressed at this man's viciousness. What can I do? HELP!

He cannot just get a restraining order with no proof. If it is made up proof you need to get a lawyer and get custody if he is violent. Go to the police and swear out a warrant against him for breaking and entering. Seriously get a lawyer, if you can not afford one contact legal aide in your community.

OF COURSE YOU SHOULD TURN HIM IN, FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE. GET DOCUMENTATION ON EVERYTHING INCLUDING ANY REPORTS OF ABUSE, THREATING CALLS. HAVE DRUG TEST DONE IN A LAB WEEKLY TO USE FOR EVIDENCE.
