I agree with Marie...if you have to ask then the answer is no.
Once you are with the person you are 'destined' for then you no longer even wonder about it.
The other warning sign is that you are asking whether the other person loves you. If they give you reason to doubt them....then trust your instincts.

Not meaning to sound like the Oracle from the Matrix, but being in love is like knowing your the one. You feel it bone to bone.
There is no real way to determine if you are, or not. Many people are involved in loveless relationships and dont realize it. Some because of security, status, money power, codependence you name it, and they call it love. Love is none of this. Love has no ego or agenda, it just moves like water, and can give you the strength to endure the most impossible situations. But above all loving someone is accepting anothers karma to work out your own. And to experience yourself through they eyes of love. When you are capable of loving someone else with acceptance of them, and yourself, without feeling resent, or anger for doing so.
Then you know it is pure, and bone to bone.

I know I'm in love, because I can walk around in the roughest areas totally alone feeling comfortable and safe. When I'm with my partner I feel scared, this is a fear of some one attacking him not me. I don't care about my own safety, I've been attacked nuff times alone and only feel scared when I'm with my partner. Also I'd rip anyones face off if they tried anything but I fear I'll not be able to protect him.

From my experience because ive only truley been in love once and still am. I just new...I Started having thoughts i never had before, babies with him one day, marriage, growing old together etc. As for knowing if that person loves you, you just have to have faith, you can't go into there heads to find out. Just trust what they tell you

When the thought of them not being there when you grow old is enough to drive you crazy!
The best way to tell if you are loved, is actions rather than words. Anybody can say 'i love you', but only a select few will hold your hair while you vomit in the toilet bowl!!!

When I'm really in love I can't stop thinking of him, my heart melts when hearing a balade, watching a sunset, smelling flowers and when he touches me I go completely crazy, adoring his hands his eyes, his lips, his shoulders... I go to sleep imagining a great future filled with joy and happyness, bright and beautifull.
When he really loves me I know now by the fact that I rarely seek for confirmations of his love. It's in every minute, in every glance and it lasts for long time. (For me, 6 years)
